Age 01+ Years
The age of 1+ years is an exciting and transformative period in a child's life as they transition from infancy to early childhood. During this stage, children experience significant developments in various areas of their growth and development. Physically, they continue to refine their motor skills, progressing from toddling to walking confidently and even running. Their hand-eye coordination improves, enabling them to manipulate objects more precisely and engage in activities like stacking blocks or turning pages of a book. Language acquisition expands rapidly as they begin to understand and use more words, combining them to form simple sentences. They may also start to express their preferences and engage in basic conversations. Cognitive abilities advance, with children displaying a growing curiosity about the world around them. They engage in imaginative play, solve simple puzzles, and exhibit a better understanding of cause and effect relationships. Socially, children at this age become more interactive with their peers, participating in parallel play and forming early friendships. They also develop a stronger sense of independence and may assert their preferences and opinions. This stage of early childhood is characterized by rapid growth, increased exploration, and the development of foundational skills that lay the groundwork for future learning and development.
